iPhone 13 Dummy Unit Shown With Smaller Notch & Different Camera Arrangement

As we get closer to the launch of the 2021 iPhones, more leaks surrounding the phones are circulating the internet. This time around, alleged dummy units of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro were posted on Weibo, showcasing the smaller notch and new camera arrangement.

Let’s start with the new camera module, which sees a slight revision. Shown below is supposedly the iPhone 13’s camera configuration next to the iPhone 13 Pro. Previously, the iPhone 12 – and in essence, the iPhone 12 mini too – had its two camera sensors arranged horizontally, but the iPhone 13 looks to be moving to a diagonal design.

Several front shots of the alleged iPhone 13 dummy unit were taken too. Although the difference isn’t very noticeable, the notch does look ever so slightly smaller, leaving more space for notifications to be shown at the top of the screen.

Of course, given that these are leaked images, there’s a possibility we’re not looking at the final iteration of the iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 Pro. We’ll just have to wait until September or October for Apple to officially introduce its 2021 iPhones – the Pro models may even feature an ultra-wide angle camera with autofocus.
