Aside from the GT Watch 3, Huawei also introduced another smartwatch in Malaysia, the Huawei Watch GT Runner. As its name suggests, it is made for runners with a number of features that are catered to these individuals, including Huawei TruSport and Running Ability Index (RAI).
Only one variant of the Watch GT Runner is offered in Malaysia. Retailing at RM1,399, those who pre-order the smartwatch can also get freebies worth RM548, which include a pair of Huawei FreeBuds 3i wireless earbuds and a Huawei Scale 3 weighing scale.
As mentioned, the GT Runner is made for…well, runners. According to Huawei, the combination of Huawei TruSport and RAI allows the smartwatch to accurately measure “the wearers’ performance as well as technique based on the heart rate, distance, and other data.”
Other specifications of the Watch GT Runner include a 1.43-inch 466 x 466 circular AMOLED display, the ability to monitor blood oxygen level all-day, a 5 ATM water resistance rating, and an impressive battery life of up to 14 days.
The Huawei Watch GT Runner is now available for pre-order in Malaysia until 12 December 2021. To recap, this runner-centric smartwatch retails at RM1,399, and early birds can RM548 worth of freebies.
