Huawei is set to launch a new flagship laptop in Malaysia. Pre-orders for the Huawei MateBook X Pro are now open locally, and the thin and light premium laptop will be launched on our shores next week on 13 May.

Only a RM70 deposit is required to pre-order the MateBook X Pro, though the Malaysian pricing of the laptop has not been revealed yet. Nonetheless, those who place a pre-order by 12 May can get freebies worth up to RM4,582, including a Huawei MatePad 11 PaperMatte Edition tablet bundled with the keyboard case and Huawei M-Pencil.

One of the most touted features of the MateBook X Pro is its thin, lightweight design: it weighs only 908g with a 13.5mm thin chassis. It also comes with either an Intel Core Ultra 9 or Ultra 7 processor, up to 32GB RAM and 2TB of SSD storage, as well as a 14.2-inch 3120 x 2080 OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Huawei MateBook X Pro is now available for pre-order in Malaysia until 12 May with a RM70 deposit. We’ll have to until the premium laptop is launched here on 13 May to find out exactly how much it will cost on our shores.
