Also unveiled alongside the new Huawei MateBook E is the Chinese company’s latest flagship laptop, the Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022. Compared to its predecessor, the new laptop features a larger, sharper, and faster screen, while also reducing the bezels surrounding the panel.
This, in turn, makes for a sleeker, more modern-looking productivity laptop. The new MateBook X Pro now features a 14.2-inch 3120 x 2080 LTPS touch-enabled display with a 90Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of 500 nits, it also supports VESA’s DisplayHDR 400 standard.

Other specifications of the updated MateBook X Pro include an 11th gen Intel Core i7-1195G7 processor paired with 16GB of RAM, Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, a generous 1TB SSD, a 60Wh battery, as well as a 15.5mm thin chassis that tips the scales at 1.38kg.
For the European market, the Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 retails at 1,899 euro (about RM8,910). It remains to be seen exactly when the flagship laptop will be available in other regions, including Malaysia.
