Huawei just launched its latest foldable smartphone in Malaysia, the Huawei Mate X3. Touted as an “ultra-thin” foldable – it measures only 5.3mm thin when it is unfolded – the Mate X3 is a premium device with a matching price tag.
Only one variant of the Mate X3 is offered in Malaysia. Sporting 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, the foldable phone retails at a whopping RM8,888 locally. Two colour options are available: Dark Green – with a Vegan Leather finish – and Black.
For that kind of money, the Mate X3 features a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G processor, along with a 120Hz 7.85-inch 2496 × 2224 inner OLED display, a 6.4-inch 1080p OLED cover screen (also set at 120Hz), a triple camera system (50MP main + 13MP ultra-wide + 12MP periscope telephoto), an 8MP selfie camera, a 4,800mAh battery, as well as an IPX8 rating.
The Huawei Mate X3 is now available for purchase in Malaysia for RM8,888. Depending on where you purchase the phone, you can get up to RM1,260 worth of freebies, including a Huawei MatePad SE tablet or a Huawei Eyewear.
