Horizon Forbidden West Physical Editions Revealed for Malaysia – RM249 to RM1,099

While pre-orders for the digital editions of Horizon Forbidden West were opened in Malaysia back in September, we’ve just got details on the physical editions of the PlayStation exclusive for the Malaysian market today. Set to go on sale tomorrow (14 December), the physical variants of the game retail from RM249 to RM1,099.

Four different versions of the game are available: Standard, Special, Collector’s, and Regalla. For the PS4, the Standard and Special Editions retail at RM249 and RM299 respectively. For RM50 more, the Special Edition comes with a rather sleek-looking Steelbook case and a mini art book.

As for the PS5, the Standard copy of Horizon Forbidden West for the next-gen console costs RM299, while the Special Edition retails at RM339. If you want something fancier, you can opt for the RM839 Collector’s Edition, which is bundled with a number of in-game bonuses, along with a statue of Aloy and Tremortusk.

Last but certainly not least is the Regalla Edition for an eye-watering RM1,099. For that kind of money, this bundle comes with a more imposing Regalla-themed Tremortusk, a replica of the Focus, Machine Strike pieces, a canvas map, and two art cards.

Curiously, both the Collector’s and Regalla Editions of the game don’t come with a physical disc; a digital download code for the PS5 and PS4 will be given instead.

These physical editions of Horizon Forbidden West will be available for pre-order in Malaysia tomorrow on 14 December. Every pre-order will also “stand a chance” to come with one of three physical items: a Focus keychain, a cap themed after the game, or a 3D puzzle of the Tremortusk.

As for Horizon Forbidden West itself, it will be released for the PS5 and PS4 on 18 February 2022.
