The Honor X9a has just been launched in Malaysia. Sporting a sleek-looking “ultra tough” dual-curve OLED display with a slim chassis, it’s quite a handsome mid-range smartphone.
For the Malaysian market, only one variant of the X9a is offered. Packed with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, the mid-ranger is priced at RM1,499. Three colour options are available: Titanium Silver, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black.
One of the most highlighted features of the Honor X9a is its 6.67-inch 2400 x 1080 OLED curved display, which is protected by a 0.65mm “super reinforced” glass. The glass is said to be stronger and more drop-resistant than 0.55mm glass typically used on other smartphones.
Other specifications of the X9a include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, a triple camera system (64MP primary + 5MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro), a 16MP selfie camera, a generous 5,100mAh battery, and Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12.
The Honor X9a will be available for purchase in Malaysia from 6 January onwards for RM1,499. Early birds who purchase the phone will also get a Honor Choice Earbuds X3 (worth RM249) and a 180-day screen crack protection (worth RM169) for free.
