Honor just launched a brand new foldable phone to take on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. The Honor Magic Vs is a slightly upgraded version of the original Magic V – which was launched earlier this year – and naturally, it sports a number of high-end features.
Powering the Magic Vs, for one, is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It should be able to deliver the performance level of a proper flagship smartphone, and aside from that, it also has a larger 5,000mAh battery now (250mAh more) than the Magic V with support for 66W fast charging.

Other specifications of the Magic Vs include the familiar 7.9-inch 2272 x 1984 OLED foldable display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 6.45-inch 2560 x 1080 OLED cover screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system – 54MP primary + 50MP ultra-wide + 8MP telephoto – and a 16MP selfie camera.
The Honor Magic Vs is only available in China at the moment, and it remains to be seen if it will be sold in other markets, including Malaysia. Anyway, in China, the foldable phone retails from 7,499 Chinese yuan (about RM4,795) for the base 8GB + 256GB model.
