Launched alongside the Honor 90 in Malaysia are two other products: the Honor 90 Lite and Honor Pad X9. Both of them are touted as mid-range offerings, and they are also priced the same at RM1,099.
Let’s start with the Honor 90 Lite. As its name suggests, it has more modest hardware over the Honor 90, though it still comes with a triple camera system headlined by a 100MP primary shooter. That sensor is complemented by a 5MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 2MP macro lens.
Other specifications of the Honor 90 Lite include a 6.7-inch 1080p IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage, a 16MP selfie camera, and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 35W fast charging.
As for the Honor Pad X9, it features a 11.5-inch 2000 x 1200 TFT LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chip paired with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, 5MP cameras for the rear and front, along with a 7,250mAh battery. All in all, pretty modest hardware.
The Honor 90 Lite can be purchased in Malaysia tomorrow on 22 July, while the Honor Pad X9 will arrive here quite a bit later on 25 August next month. To recap, both devices are priced at RM1,099 on our shores.
