Honor 8S Now Offers 3GB RAM and 64GB Storage for RM429 in Malaysia

The Honor 8S was released in Malaysia last December, but it only came with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage; small capacities, even for an entry-level smartphone. The good news is, the device is now available with more RAM and storage, along with a new colour option for slightly more money.

When the Honor 8S was first launched here with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, it retailed at RM399. Now, this variant can be purchased for only RM369. Of course, if you want even more storage and RAM, you can opt for the new configuration: it offers 3GB of RAM and double the internal storage at 64GB for only RM429.

Aside from the extra RAM and storage, other specifications of the Honor 8S still remain the same. This include a 13MP primary camera, a 5MP front-facing shooter, a 3,020mAh battery, and a MediaTek MT6761 quad-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. Besides that, it also has a 5.71-inch 1520 x 720 notched display.

As mentioned, there’s also a new colour for the Honor 8S: Aurora Blue. This new shade is exclusively offered on the new 64GB variant, and compared to the regular Blue of the 32GB model, it’s a lighter, almost teal-like colour. It looks pretty unique.

The Honor 8S with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage will be available for purchase in Malaysia from 22 August onwards. You can get it on Honor’s own online store as well as its official Shopee store.
