Honda Malaysia just announced the appointment of Hironobu Yoshimura as the brand’s new managing director and CEO from 1 April 2022. He takes over from Madoka Chujo a year after her tenure as she heads back to Japan to assume a new role at Honda Motor Company in the sales division of the automobile operations sales supervisory unit.
Yoshimura brings with him over 34 years of experience, having held key roles within Honda in various countries, including Japan, Thailand, and Pakistan. Prior to his role as MD and CEO of Honda Malaysia, he was the president and CEO of Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited.

“I am excited to take up this new role at Honda Malaysia. This unique and diverse nation is truly an important market in the Asia and Oceania region for us at Honda,” Yoshimura said.
“Honda Malaysia has persevered through and overcame many challenges over the years. I look forward to leading the company in a post-pandemic business environment and to contribute positively towards the growth of the company,” he added.
