Hearthstone’s latest expansion, March of the Lich King, is now live! The set adds 203 new cards and a new class to the game, the Death Knight. Naturally, the debut hero for the new class is none other than Arthas himself as the Lich King.
With the addition of Death Knight, there are now a whopping 11 different classes in Hearthstone. Given that it’s a brand new class, it also gets 68 new cards, and 32 of them are free Core cards to get players started. Looking at the current meta, the Blood build of Death Knight looks quite strong.
As with every new Hearthstone expansion, March of the Lich King introduces a new keyword: Manathirst. Once you’ve acquired a set amount of mana crystals, certain cards will have additional effects. Besides that, the Reborn keyword – the first time a minion dies, it will be resummoned with one health – is making a return as well.
Hearthstone’s March of the Lich King expansion is now available in the card game. Just like previous expansions, there’s a launch event that runs for two weeks – players can complete daily event quests to get experience for a special event reward track.
