Back in January this year, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) announced the permanent closure of its outlet in Berjaya Times Square, but the situation seems to have changed. The company just revealed that the branch will be reopening tomorrow on 21 October.
This was announced on GSC’s social media accounts. According to the post, ticketing for the Berjaya Times Square outlet is also open now. You can check out the showtimes available for the branch right here or through GSC’s app on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Do note that only fully vaccinated moviegoers are allowed entry at all cinemas nationwide as per guidelines set out by the government. Aside from that, hall capacities are also limited to 50% to ensure that physical distancing can be observed.
If you’re under the age of 18 – and fully vaccinated, of course – you will only be allowed to enter if you’re in states that are under the fourth phase of the National Recovery Plan (NRP). These include Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Malacca, and Sarawak.
