It’s been rumoured for quite some time, and it’s now official: God of War is indeed coming to PC. It’s set to arrive on Steam and the Epic Games Store next year on 15 January 2022, bringing with it a slew of upgrades.
This was revealed by PlayStation itself in a blog post. According to the writeup, God of War on PC will feature 4K resolution (naturally) along with unlocked frame rates. If you’ve got a 21:9 ultrawide monitor, good news: the PC version of God of War will support this wide, cinematic aspect ratio.
Of course, controller support for God of War on PC will also be offered. “We will support DualShock 4 and DualSense wireless controllers in addition to a wide range of other gamepads,” as PlayStation puts it. If you’re more comfortable with keyboard and mouse, you will be able to customise the key bindings.
