As more content are added to Genshin Impact, the size of the game also gets bigger, which can be an issue. This is especially so on mobile, but the good news is, you can now reduce the file size of the game quite a bit with a new feature.
This feature was added to Genshin Impact in the Version 3.1 update. As outlined by Hoyoverse in the patch note, the “past quest resource management” function allows players to “delete the audio and video resources corresponding to completed Archon quests and Story quests on mobile.”
It’s only offered on mobile at the moment, and it is said to be a test of the feature. For our particular Genshin Impact account, we can remove a whopping 4.71GB of data; that’s quite a lot of space freed up. Of course, you can always download the resources again if you need them.
You can access Genshin Impact’s new quest resource management feature from the settings menu by accessing the resources tab. If you’re running out of space already on your mobile device, we imagine this feature will be especially useful.
One Reply to Genshin Impact Taking up Too Much Space? You Can Now Delete Resources From Past Quests
Is there any reason not to accept this resource? If we’ve already completed the quests it isn’t like we can complete them again, right.
