Genshin Impact 1.4 Update Raises Condensed Resin Cap & Allows Players to Lower World Level

Mihoyo just revealed new changes that will be coming to Version 1.4 of Genshin Impact. Not only will the amount of Condensed Resin you can keep in your inventory will be increased from the current limitation of three units, you can even lower your world level if you’re having difficulty clearing content.

These changes coming to Version 1.4 of Genshin Impact were detailed by Mihoyo in the latest Developers’ Discussion. Though it was confirmed that the Condensed Resin cap will be increased in Version 1.4, the exact amount has not been revealed yet. The mechanic to lower world level was not detailed either, oddly enough.

Instead, Mihoyo said that these changes will be discussed in detail during the upcoming Version 1.4 Sneak Peek Livestream, which (unfortunately) does not have a date yet. Nonetheless, these two changes alone will certainly make a lot of Genshin Impact players happy.

Other changes coming to Genshin Impact in the Version 1.4 update include an improved weapon upgrade system – more slots could be added for the weapon upgrade materials – the ability to finally use the Crafting Bench in co-op mode, and if you’ve hit the maximum Adventure Rank (which is currently capped at 60), excess Adventure experience earned will be converted to Mora.
