Aside from the M5 and F9 smartphones, FreeYond also introduced three other affordable products for the Malaysian market. These include the FreeYond Watch S1 and F1 smartwatches, as well as the FreeYond Pods 1 wireless earbuds.
Out of the three products, the Pods 1 is the most affordable one with a RM89 price tag. For that kind of money, it features up to six hours of use on a single charge – for a combined battery life of up to 30 hours with the charging case – a 12mm “bass enhancement unit,” and an IPX4 rating.
And then there’s the Watch F1, which costs only RM119. It has an Apple Watch-like design with a 1.8-inch display, an IP67 rating, and up to five days of battery life under light use. As for the Watch S1, it’s a RM159 smartwatch with a 1.39-inch circular display, an IP68 rating, and up to seven days of battery life; again, under light use.
According to FreeYond, these products will be available for purchase in Malaysia by May 2023 from selected retailers. They will also be offered online through FreeYond’s official Shopee and Lazada stores.
