Back in November last year, Xiaomi’s latest Android One device, the Xiaomi Mi A2, had its retail prices revised to RM899 and RM1,099 for the 64GB and 128GB variants respectively. It’s been a few months since then, so not surprisingly, the Android One device is even more affordable now.
Let’s start with the base model of the Mi A2. One particular retailer on Shopee – a Preferred seller, to boot – is currently offering the 64GB model with 4GB of RAM for only RM769, which saves you RM130. Three colours are offered by the retailer: Lake Blue, Gold, and Black.
As for the 128GB variant of the Mi A2 with 6GB of RAM, retailer Elite Mobile on Lazada is listing the device at only RM999. It’s not quite as big of a saving compared to the base model, but hey, RM100 worth of discount is still a good deal. Naturally, all three colours are also available for this deal.
All of the deals mentioned here are official Malaysian units of the Xiaomi Mi A2 – we do our best to only cover deals with official warranty coverage. Rest assured, you will be getting warranty support from Xiaomi Malaysia itself if you purchase the device from the links we have provided above.
The Xiaomi Mi A2 is a great option for those who are looking for a mid-range smartphone with polished software experience and good performance for the money. However, do note that its 3,010mAh battery can only return average battery life, and its lack of support for expandable storage may be a deal breaker to some folks.
