Now this is quite interesting! Hoyoverse has put up a real-life teleport waypoint from Genshin Impact right here in Malaysia. Well, more specifically, at the Bukit Bintang Crossing at the heart of Kuala Lumpur, directly in front of Lot 10.
Those who visit the teleport waypoint can also walk away with some neat Genshin Impact freebies, including a hilichurl mask, postcard, and one of three bookmark designs. However, to get the latter two items, you’ll have to post a TikTok video of the waypoint.
Several character standees – with a link to download the game – are also placed around the teleport waypoint. These include the male (Aether) and female (Lumine) Travelers, and the three new Sumeru characters – Tighnari, Collei, and Dori – who are playable in the just-released Version 3.0 update.
It’s certainly neat to see a landmark from Genshin Impact brought to life, especially right here in Malaysia. The teleport waypoint will be there until 6 September 2022, and several other countries have the landmark too, including Singapore, the Phillipines, UK (London), and US (New York).
