The much anticipated BMW CE 04 will make its way to Malaysian shores in March 2023 later this year. One of the main selling points of the electric scooter is its sleek-looking futuristic design, not to mention pretty respectable performance.
At the moment, no official pricing for the CE 04 has been revealed, though it’s estimated to retail around the RM60,000 price point. The final price will be unveiled closer to its aforementioned local launch sometime in March 2023.

Touted as an electric scooter for city riding, the CE 04 is quite a fast vehicle, though it does have relatively limited range of up to 130km from a 8.9kWh battery. Nonetheless, the scooter’s electric motor can output 42PS and 62Nm of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0-50kmph in only 2.6 seconds. It also has a top speed of 120kmph (electronically limited).
As for charging time, the CE 04 can be charged from 0-80% in 1 hour and 5 minutes with a 6.9kW AC charger. If it’s charged with a slower 2.3kW AC charger instead, it takes 3 hours and 30 minutes to get to the same level of charge.

To recap, the BMW CE 04 is expected to arrive in Malaysia sometime in March 2023. It’s estimated to go for around RM60,000, which is quite a bit lower than the asking prices of the electric scooter in other markets.
