Several companies have introduced their own laptops powered by the new Intel Core Ultra chips under the chipmaker’s Meteor Lake lineup. One such company is Asus with the Asus Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3405), which could very well be the first Core Ultra chip laptop that will be introduced in Malaysia.
At least, that’s what Asus Malaysia is telling us. The laptop is offered with three choices of processors: Core Ultra 5 125H, Core Ultra 7 155H, and the range-topping Core Ultra 9 185H. It also has Intel Arc integrated GPU, along with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD storage.
Other specifications of the Zenbook 14 OLED include a 14-inch 16:10 OLED display with three different configurations – it remains to be seen which option the Malaysian market will receive – a 75Wh battery that promises up to 15 hours of use, as well as a 14.9mm thin chassis.
No word yet on exactly when the Asus Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3405) will be available in Malaysia, though as mentioned, we were told it will be arriving here “very, very soon.” As for pricing, its predecessor retailed from RM4,399 on our shores, so it’ll be interesting to see if the refreshed model will be priced similarly.
