Asus’ latest lineup of gaming smartphones are here, and the standard Asus ROG Phone 6 here is the more affordable model. On top of that, it shares many of the Pro model’s hardware as well, including a fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and 165Hz AMOLED screen.
For the Malaysian market, two variants of the ROG Phone 6 are available. The base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs RM3,599, while the 16GB + 512GB configuration goes for RM4,399. These prices are quite a bit lower than the Pro model, which is priced at RM4,999.

For that kind of money, the ROG Phone 6 features the aforementioned Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a blazing fast 165Hz refresh rate. This panel also has a high 720Hz sampling rate, giving it a touch latency of only 23ms.
Other specifications of the ROG Phone 6 Pro include a triple camera system (50MP primary + 13MP ultra-wide + macro), a 12MP selfie camera, an illuminated ROG logo on the back panel, capacitive shoulder buttons, and a generous 6,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.

The Asus ROG Phone 6 will be available for pre-order in Malaysia from 6 July tomorrow with a RM3,599 starting price. Early birds will get RM548 worth of freebies, including the new AeroActive Cooler 6 (worth RM349) and a one-year extended warranty (worth RM199).
According to Asus Malaysia, the ROG Phone 6 is set to arrive in Malaysia sometime in August next month.
