The Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro is finally here, and it is easily the Taiwanese company’s most impressive gaming phone yet. Not only is it powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, it also features a sleek new design – yes, it still has a display on the back panel.
First, let’s talk prices. Only a single variant of the ROG Phone 6 Pro is offered in Malaysia, and it goes for a cool RM4,999 with a whopping 18GB RAM and 512GB storage. Unfortunately, it will only be available on our shores sometime in September 2022; the standard ROG Phone 6 will arrive here first.
Naturally, the ROG Phone 6 Pro features a fast Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, and it even comes with an equally speedy 165Hz 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED display. Thanks to the panel’s 720Hz sampling rate, it also has a touch latency of only 23ms; perfect for avid mobile gamers.
Other specifications of the ROG Phone 6 Pro include a triple camera system (50MP primary + 13MP ultra-wide + macro), a 12MP selfie camera, an ROG Vision coloured PMOLED display on the back panel, capacitive shoulder buttons, and a generous 6,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
To recap, the Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro is priced at RM4,999 in Malaysia, and it offers 18GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It is set to be available here sometime in September 2022.
