Asus ProArt StudioBook One Launched in Malaysia For a Cool RM49,999

Asus just launched one of its most expensive laptops in Malaysia: the Asus ProArt StudioBook One. At a glance, it looks like a conventional 15.6-inch workstation laptop, but it actually has some serious power under the hood with a unique design element.

See, unlike most laptops, the major components of the StudioBook One are actually housed right behind the screen. In fact, when the laptop is opened up, the outer cover of the lid at the back of the display automatically opens to increase airflow, improving the thermal performance of the machine. It’s really quite an interesting design choice.

As mentioned, the StudioBook One is packing some serious power under the hood. These include a fast Intel Core i9-9980HK processor paired with a whopping 64GB of RAM, an Nvidia Quadro RTX 6000 GPU – the StudioBook One is actually touted as the first and only laptop with this GPU – as well as 1TB of SSD storage.

Given the StudioBook One’s status as a workstation laptop, it also has a very impressive Pantone Validated screen. Not only is the 15.6-inch IPS display a 3840 x 2160 4K panel that covers 100% of the Adobe RGB colour gamut, it also has a fast 120Hz refresh rate.

The Asus ProArt StudioBook One is now available for purchase in Malaysia for a cool RM49,999. That’s a steep price tag, to be sure, but it does offer very high-end hardware.
