You don’t often see laptops with OLED displays in the market, so it’s always exciting when laptop makers launch such a product locally. Asus Malaysia just introduced the ZenBook 13 OLED and ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED in our market – two laptops that sit at very different price points.
Let’s start with the more affordable machine of the two, the ZenBook 13 OLED productivity laptop. As mentioned, it features a 13.3-inch 1920 x 1080 OLED panel along with two processor options: an Intel Core i5-1135G7 (RM4,299) or a faster Core i7-1165G7 (RM4,999).
Other specifications of the ZenBook 13 OLED include Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, 8GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, a 13.9mm profile, and a pretty lightweight 1.14kg chassis.
And then there’s the much higher-end ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED, which is meant to appeal to content creators who need two screens. The primary display is a 15.6-inch 4K OLED touch-enabled screen, while the secondary 14.09-inch ScreenPad Plus is a UHD touch-enabled IPS panel.
Rounding out the specifications of the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED are an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, 32GB of RAM, a generous 1TB SSD, and two processor options: a Core i7-10870H chip (RM12,999) or a beefier, unlocked Core i9-10980HK processor (RM15,999).
Both the Asus ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED and ZenBook 13 OLED will be available for purchase in Malaysia from tomorrow onwards on 7 June 2021. If you want a laptop with a vibrant screen (and deep blacks), consider these two new laptops.
