Also unveiled at Apple’s big fall event is the latest Apple Watch Series 7. With a larger screen and a more rounded design, the new Apple Watch is sleeker than ever, and it will be available later this fall.
Thanks to the larger screen – with screen bezels only 1.7mm thin – the Apple Watch Series 7…supports a full-size keyboard. That’s right, you can type with a full QWERTY keyboard on the new Apple Watch. It even supports swipe typing for a more intuitive typing experience.
Aside from that, the updated Apple Watch is also said to be the most durable one yet. It features a stronger, more crack-resistant front crystal, along with an IP6X certification for dust resistance. Of course, the WR50 water resistance rating is retained too.
Charging speed of the Apple Watch Series 7 sees a nice upgrade too. According to Apple, this smartwatch can now recharge up to 33% faster. As for battery life, the new Apple Watch can still provide the same all-day 18-hour battery life.
No word yet on the Malaysian pricing or availability of the Apple Watch Series 7, though it’s set to be available sometime in fall 2021. For context, the Series 7 retails from $399 in the US, which comes up to about RM1,660.
