If you’ve been waiting to create apps for the new Apple Vision Pro headset, good news. The visionOS software development kit (SDK) is now available for download, and developer labs – which allows folks to try out their apps on the Vision Pro hardware – will also be opened sometime next month.
These developer labs will be available in selected locations, including Cupertino (of course), London, Munich, Shanghai, Tokyo, and the one closest to us, Singapore. Apple added that developer teams can apply for developer kits of Vision Pro too; great for folks who can’t access the aforementioned developer labs.

“Apple Vision Pro redefines what’s possible on a computing platform. Developers can get started building visionOS apps using the powerful frameworks they already know, and take their development even further with new innovative tools and technologies like Reality Composer Pro, to design all-new experiences for their users,” said the vice president of Apple’s Worldwide Developer Relations, Susan Prescott.
You can download the visionOS SDK right here, though you need to be a member of the Apple Developer Program to access it. Vision Pro developer kits can also be applied from next month onwards through this page.
