If you’ve been waiting for Maybank to add support for its American Express cards to Apple Pay, wait no more. From today onwards, you can now link your Maybank American Express cards to the payment service.
This was confirmed by Maybank itself on its social media pages. Of course, the process to add an American Express card from the bank to Apple Pay is the same. You can refer to our step-by-step guide to add supported cards to an iPhone right here.
To recap, Apple Pay makes it easier to make payments with a compatible Apple product, as it allows you to add your credit card or debit card to the service. Once you’ve set up Apple Pay on, say, your iPhone, you can use your phone to make payments at retailers that support the service.
If you’ve got a card issued by Maybank – now including its American Express cards – AmBank, or Standard Chartered, you can now add it to Apple Pay to start making payments with the service. Again, if you’re not sure how to do that, here’s our guide on how to activate Apple Pay on an iPhone.
