Apple just scheduled a new event for next week! Set for 9 March at 2AM Malaysian time, rumours suggest the introduction of a new iPhone SE and iPad Air at the “Peek Performance” event.
This bit of information came from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who is often accurate with his Apple-related rumours. According to him, the upcoming iPhone SE will supposedly share the same design as the current one, but with a faster Apple A15 Bionic chip and 5G connectivity.
As for the latest iteration of the iPad Air, it is speculated to feature a new CPU and 5G connectivity for the cellular models. A new Mac equipped with Apple-designed chips are said to be launching sometime in March too, though we probably won’t be seeing that at next week’s event.
Nonetheless, these are still rumours until Apple itself officially confirm them. We’ll find out just what the new iPhone SE and iPad Air have to offer next week on 9 March at 2AM Malaysian time.
