We spotted the 2nd generation AirPods Pro in SIRIM’s database just a couple of days ago, suggesting that the wireless earbuds will be available in Malaysia soon. Well, you can now purchase the new AirPods Pro on our shores!
As previously revealed, the upgraded AirPods Pro retails at RM1,099 for the Malaysian market. Compared to its predecessor, the new earbuds come with a slew of improvements. For one, it’s said to have better active noise cancellation with “up to double the noise-cancelling power” of the original AirPods Pro, thanks to the new H2 chip.
Battery life of the new AirPods Pro has also been improved by 1.5 hours for a total of up to six hours of use with ANC activated. With the charging case, users can get up to 30 hours of total listening time. Aside from that, the wireless earbuds finally add volume and media controls to the stem.
The 2nd generation AirPods Pro is now available for purchase on Apple’s Malaysian online store. It will ship as early as next week, though it will take longer if you want to add an engraving.
