Yet another affordable Redmi-branded smartphone has entered the Malaysian market. Set to be available here from 20 August onwards, the Redmi 10 offers quite a number of interesting features despite its budget-friendly price tag.
Two variants of the Redmi 10 are available in Malaysia. The base model with 64GB of expandable storage and 4GB of RAM costs RM649, while the more practical 128GB configuration with 6GB of RAM retails at RM749.
For that kind of money, the Redmi 10 is a reasonably good entry-level smartphone. Its display, for one, is a 6.5-inch 1080p screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It’s also packing a generous 5,000mAh battery, which should be able to offer above average battery life.
Other specifications of the Redmi 10 include a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, a quad camera system (50MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP macro + 2MP depth), an 8MP selfie camera, and three colour options: Sea Blue, Carbon Grey, and Pebble White.
To recap, the Redmi 10 will be available for purchase in Malaysia from 20 August onwards this Friday. The 64GB + 4GB model retails at RM649, while the 128GB + 6GB variant goes for RM749.
