Realme just revealed the Malaysian launch date for its first-ever tablet, the Realme Pad. If you’re looking for an affordable Android tablet, you may want to check it out once the device arrives here next week on 3 November.
So just how affordable is the Realme Pad? Well, in India, this tablet retails from only 13,999 Indian rupee, which comes up to about RM775. For that kind of money, you’re getting a 10.4-inch 2000 x 1200 IPS screen and a MediaTek Helio G80 chip – reasonably good hardware for the money.
Other specifications of the Realme Pad include 3GB or 4GB of RAM, two storage options (32GB or 64GB), a microSD card slot, an 8MP rear camera, another 8MP shooter on the front for selfies, a 7,100mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging, and a 6.9mm thin chassis.
The Realme Pad will be launched here in Malaysia next week on 3 November; we’ll find out then exactly how much it costs. It’s worth noting that the Realme GT Neo 2 will also be introduced locally at the same time.
