Acer Malaysia Flood Relief – Free Repair up to RM1,000 for Affected Acer Products

Got an Acer product damaged by the floods? Then here’s a bit of good news: Acer Malaysia is offering free repair for any Acer products that were damaged in the recent floods. That’s right, you won’t even need to fork out a single sen…to an extent.

This free repair for affected Acer products is capped at RM1,000 per customer. If the cost of repair is below this threshold, you won’t have to pay for it at all. The cherry on top? Out-of-warranty devices are also eligible for this offer, though you do have to show proof – such as your home address – that you were affected by the floods.

Even if you don’t own an Acer product, you can still send it to the company to get it repaired, though there will be applicable charges.

Interestingly, if the device is damaged beyond repair, Acer Malaysia will offer a 20% discount on any of its new laptop or desktop on its official e-store. This offer will be valid until 31 March 2022, so there’s plenty of time to take advantage of the discount if you’re eligible.
