Acer just launched four new monitors in Malaysia. Three of them are gaming-centric monitors from the Acer Nitro XZ2 and XV2 series, while the fourth one is the Acer VT270 touch-enabled monitor. The best part is, all of these monitors are quite affordable with a RM949 starting price, and they are now available for purchase in Malaysia.
Acer Nitro XZ2 Series
Let’s start with the Nitro XZ2 series, which is made up of the Nitro XZ322QUS and Nitro XZ342CUV3. Of the two monitors, the XZ322QUS is the more affordable option for RM999. For that kind of money, it features a 31.5-inch 2560 x 1440 VA curved panel (1500R) with a 165Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium support, and 400 nits of peak brightness.
As for the XZ342CUV3 – priced at RM1,499 – it has a wider and sharper 34-inch 21:9 VA curved screen (1500R) with a 3440 x 1440 resolution and 180Hz refresh rate, along with the same support for AMD FreeSync Premium and 400 nits peak brightness.
Acer Nitro XV272UV3
Next, we have the Nitro XV272UV3, which is the most affordable monitor of the bunch with a RM949 price tag. Despite its budget-friendly pricing, this is actually quite a well-equipped gaming monitor. Its screen, for one, is a 27-inch 2560 x 1440 IPS panel with a 180Hz refresh rate.
Other specifications of the Nitro XV272UV3 include AMD FreeSync Premium technology, Delta E<1 value for colour accuracy, 400 nits of peak brightness, up to 0.5ms grey to grey response time, as well as support for tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments.
Last but not least is the VT270 for RM1,399. The most unique selling point of this monitor is its touch-enabled display with 10-point touch support. Of course, in order for the touchscreen to work with a connected PC or laptop, a USB-A connection is required.
Rounding out the specifications of the VT270 are a 27-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display with a 75Hz refresh rate, 300 nits of peak brightness, 4ms grey to grey response time, AdaptiveSync technology, and built-in speakers.
