Huawei FreeBuds SE 5 Max Launched in Malaysia: 80-Hour Battery Life and Adaptive ANC for RM159

Alongside its flagship wearables, Huawei Malaysia has debuted the new Huawei FreeBuds SE 5 Max, bringing robust battery life and advanced features to the sub-RM200 audio segment. Priced at RM159, the FreeBuds SE 5 Max is built for users looking for long-lasting daily playback without constant recharging.

The earbuds offer up to 10 hours of continuous listening on a single charge, which stretches to an impressive 80 hours total when factoring in the charging case. Despite its budget positioning, the audio gear packs up to 52dB Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation, paired with a six-microphone system to isolate background noise and deliver clear voice calls.

Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 6.0 with dual-device pairing, allowing seamless switching across iOS and Android smartphones or laptops. Audiophiles are also treated to Hi-Res Audio certification with LDAC codec support for detailed, high-resolution streaming.

Finished with an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance, the Huawei FreeBuds SE 5 Max is available at RM159 after rebate, starting today through Huawei Experience Stores and official online retail channels.
