Huawei Watch 6 Series Launched in Malaysia, Starting From RM1,799

Huawei Malaysia has officially expanded its wearable lineup with the local launch of the Huawei Watch 6 Series. Moving beyond traditional fitness tracking, the new flagship smartwatch lineup focuses heavily on proactive health intelligence, connectivity, and refined design.  

The series is split between the standard Huawei Watch 6 and the premium Huawei Watch 6 Pro. The Pro model steps up its build with aerospace-grade titanium alloy and nano-tech ceramic materials, while the standard Watch 6 opts for a lighter frame paired with Huawei’s EasyCross strap. Across the board, the watches feature spherical sapphire glass for enhanced durability, with the Pro variant boasting an ultra-bright display that reaches up to 3,500 nits.  

Health monitoring takes center stage, driven by an upgraded X-TAP system featuring a 20-level tactile sensor and a 12-channel PPG sensor. Addressing local health trends, the Watch 6 Series introduces both Hypertension Risk Studies and Diabetes Risk Studies, making it the first smartwatch in Malaysia to support dual health risk evaluations.

 
This is complemented by the upgraded Health Glance feature, which generates a comprehensive 13-metric health overview in just 60 seconds.  The series integrates built-in eSIM functionality for calls without a phone, alongside Dual-Phone Connection support, standalone Petal Maps navigation, and new gesture controls like Quick Flip, Pinch, and Slide. Fitness tracking covers over 100 sports modes, including freediving up to 40 meters, backed by AI Workout Analysis and an exclusive Expedition App on the Pro model.

Battery life goes up to seven days for the 42mm variants and up to 11 days for the larger 46mm models. In Malaysia, the Huawei Watch 6 is priced at RM1,799, while the Huawei Watch 6 Pro is priced at RM2,699. Early buyers of the new smartwatches are entitled to complimentary gifts worth up to RM993, including a pair of Huawei FreeBuds SE 2, subscription bundles, a one-year APAC warranty, and an extra inbox watch strap.
