Celebrating three decades of “The Real Driving Simulator,” Sony and Polyphony Digital have announced a special hardware release alongside a massive content drop for Gran Turismo 7.
The Gran Turismo Limited Edition DualSense Wireless Controller pays tribute to 30 years of automotive craftsmanship and franchise history. The controller features a textured, carbon-fibre-style front plate designed to mimic real automotive materials, paired with motorsport-inspired graphics and dual black racing stripes running across the touch pad.
The controller will launch globally in limited quantities on 10 December, carrying a recommended retail price of $84.99 USD (around RM350). Pre-orders kick off globally on 22 October at 10:00 AM local time through participating retailers.

Simultaneously, all players are receiving the Spec IV – Part 1 content update for Gran Turismo 7. The update introduces the technical 3,586-meter Sportsland Sugo circuit located in Japan’s Miyagi prefecture, alongside six new vehicles spanning distinct automotive eras.
The lineup includes the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo electric hypercar featuring an ultra-low 0.29 drag coefficient, the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Evo ’26 powered by a 4-rotor SKYACTIV engine, the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta ’94, the Honda Civic Si Group A version ’87, the Honda Step WGN Spada Premium Line ’23, and the classic Citroën 2 CV 6 Charleston ’86.
Rounding out the update are new gameplay additions including an Experience driving mode, an expanded Car Viewer for detailed inspection and photography, fresh World Circuit events, and additional Scapes locations. For newcomers looking to try out the franchise, Sony has also made the free trial version, My First GT, available for download.
