CORSAIR Launches HS80 v2 MAX Wireless Gaming Headset — RM939, Arrives November

CORSAIR has officially announced the launch of its newest flagship gaming headset, the HS80 v2 MAX Wireless. A successor to the gaming brand’s HS80 MAX, the updated headset introduces hardware-level acoustic upgrades alongside extended battery life and refined ergonomics.

The centerpiece of the HS80 v2 MAX Wireless is its redesigned 50mm dynamic drivers, which now feature a Non-Newtonian Laminate (NNL) diaphragm. CORSAIR designed this driver material specifically to absorb residual acoustic vibrations much faster after loud, explosive sounds occur in-game.
By settling driver movement rapidly, the headset maintains clear audio layering, ensuring that gaming cues such as subtle enemy footsteps, reloads, and distant gunshots remain audible even during heavy firefights. Spatial audio tracking is also available via Dolby Atmos support on PC.

For team communication, the headset carries a broadcast-grade 10mm omni-directional microphone capsule with a built-in pop filter designed to suppress plosives for smoother voice clarity. Flipping the boom arm up instantly mutes the microphone.
PC gamers using NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards can also utilise NVIDIA Broadcast integration within the CORSAIR iCUE software suite to apply AI-powered background noise removal.
Users are able to pair the headset over low-latency 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth at the same time across PC, Mac, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. Battery life sees a massive jump over its predecessor, reaching up to 110 hours on a single charge via 2.4GHz wireless and up to 130 hours over Bluetooth. A 15-minute quick charge over USB-C restores up to six hours of playtime.

As for build and comfort, the HS80 v2 MAX sports a floating headband construction paired with memory foam ear cushions finished in breathable fabric, housed inside a reinforced metal and plastic chassis weighing 370g.
The CORSAIR HS80 v2 MAX Wireless is priced at RM939 with local availability scheduled from mid-November onwards.
