LEGO PlayStation Set Revealed, Available From 1 October

During the PlayStation State of Play broadcast, Sony revealed the LEGO PlayStation, a 1,911-piece set replicating the original PlayStation console and controller at near 1:1 scale, measuring 26cm wide when fully assembled. Unfortunately, no, there isn’t a functioning console under all that Lego.

What the build does include is two game dioramas inspired by launch titles from the original PlayStation era. The Gran Turismo diorama features a miniature track with scaled-down cars, while the Ape Escape diorama recreates a nostalgic island scene with a swappable blue or red light on the monkey’s helmet.

Both dioramas can be removed from the console and displayed separately. The console itself features functional Power and Open button mechanisms, and the included controller can plug directly into the replica console.

The LEGO PlayStation will be available from 1 October 2026 directly via direct.playstation.com in the US, UK and select European markets, alongside LEGO Insiders Early Access.

General availability on LEGO.com and at LEGO Stores follows on 4 October 2026. Pricing is USD179.99, EUR159.99 or GBP139.99 depending on region. Malaysian pricing and availability have yet to be announced.
