Redmi Note 17 Series Now on Sale in Malaysia from RM749

The Redmi Note 17 Series has officially gone on sale in Malaysia from 5 September, with open sales running until 30 September at Xiaomi stores, mi.com and official storefronts on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop. The series includes four models built around what Xiaomi calls Redmi Titan Quality, with a focus on large batteries, durability and battery health.

The flagship Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G packs a 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W HyperCharge and 27W reverse charging, powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G comes with an 8,340mAh battery and 67W HyperCharge on the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4. Both Pro models carry TÜV SÜD 5-star Titan Quality Certification with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K water resistance ratings and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The base Redmi Note 17 5G and standard Redmi Note 17 share a 7,700mAh battery with 45W charging, IP65 resistance and Gorilla Glass 7i.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G is RM1,799 for 8GB and 256GB and RM2,099 for 8GB and 512GB, down from RM1,999 and RM2,299 respectively. Pro Max purchases include a free Redmi Headphones Neo alongside extended warranty coverage and digital benefits like YouTube Premium and Google One.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G is RM1,799 for 8GB and 256GB and RM1,499 for 8GB and 512GB. The Redmi Note 17 5G starts from RM999 for 6GB and 128GB and RM1,199 for 8GB and 256GB, with a free Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active included. The standard Redmi Note 17 is an online exclusive starting from RM749 for 4GB and 128GB, down from RM849.

Xiaomi is also offering a 0% instalment plan through Atome with an additional RM100 voucher discount stacked on top of existing promotions. To mark the launch, a ‘Redmi Boss for a Day’ event featuring Malaysian ambassador Meerqeen is taking place at Xiaomi Store The Exchange TRX on 5 September with the first 80 eligible pre-order customers gaining access to a meet-and-greet session.
