Apple Back to School 2026: Education Discounts, Gift Cards and MacBook Neo From RM2,599

Apple may have raised the prices of their products due to supply issues, but if you’re a student or educator, there is some good news. Apple’s Back to School promotion is now live in Malaysia, offering discounted pricing across Mac, iPad and for the first time, Apple Watch, alongside an Apple Gift Card with eligible purchases.

The MacBook Neo is, no doubt, the headline addition this season, billed as Apple’s most affordable laptop ever at RM2,599 with education pricing, down from RM2,999. It runs on Apple silicon and is available in Blush, Indigo, Silver and Citrus, aimed squarely at first-time Mac buyers and casual users.

The MacBook Air with M5 starts from RM5,099 with education savings, available in 13 and 15-inch sizes in Sky Blue, Midnight, Starlight and Silver. The MacBook Pro with M5, M5 Pro or M5 Max starts from RM7,899 for education, covering the 14 and 16-inch models in Silver and Space Black.

For iPad, the standard iPad with A16 starts from RM1,959 with education pricing, the iPad Air with M4 from RM3,269 and the iPad Pro with M5 from RM5,039. Apple Pencil Pro is RM499 and Apple Pencil USB-C is RM299 for education, with Magic Keyboard options ranging from RM1,199 to RM1,499 depending on the model and size.

Apple Watch is joining the education discount programme for the first time this year, available at reduced pricing both in stores and online. The Apple Watch Series 11 starts from RM1,619, the Apple Watch SE 3 from RM959 and the Apple Watch Ultra 3 from RM3,329 with education savings.

On the software and services side, Apple Creator Studio is available at RM9.90 per month for students and educators, covering Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro and a suite of productivity apps.

Apple Music’s Student Plan is RM8.90 per month and now includes Apple TV+ access. iCloud+ 50GB is also being offered free for three months from June to end of August for new customers, existing free-tier users and returning customers, redeemable at Apple Retail stores.

Students who buy a qualifying Mac or iPad receive an Apple Gift Card valued between RM400 and RM600 to use toward a future purchase, whether that is AirPods, an Apple Pencil, AppleCare+ or anything else in the store.
