Perodua has officially unveiled the second chapter of its electric vehicle roadmap at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2026 (KLIMS 2026), pulling back the silk on a striking new concept car inspired by Malaysia’s Alpha and Beta generations.

Dubbed the Chapter 2, or C2, this B-segment prototype signals a dramatic departure from the national automaker’s previous EM-O concept. It showcases a completely fresh design language crafted entirely by Perodua’s younger design talent, blending sharp futuristic styling with a bold vision of next-generation local mobility.

According to Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad, the C2 expands on the brand’s core narrative of creating vehicles by Malaysians for the world. Built as a foundation for the company’s upcoming production electric vehicles, the prototype focuses heavily on cutting-edge software integration.

It features a suite of advanced artificial intelligence driving assists, including predictive real-time navigation, automated charging station routing, dynamic traffic updates, smart assisted parking, and upgraded anti-theft security systems.

Central to the C2 experience is the deep integration of Perodua’s proprietary P-Circle super app. The ecosystem links the vehicle directly to a secure e-wallet and a streamlined ecosystem that even covers priority genuine parts delivery.

Visitors attending KLIMS 2026 can interact with the vehicle firsthand alongside an array of tech showcases including interactive robots and drone displays, with Perodua actively gathering public feedback to refine the final production version.
