UGREEN is a name that has become practically synonymous with charging accessories and tech peripherals. The brand has just expanded its Nexode Pro lineup with two new additions: the Nexode Pro 10000mAh 55W Power Bank and the Nexode Pro 100W 5-Port Charger.

Power banks are a dime a dozen these days, and what separates one from another comes down to battery capacity, charging speed and how well those two things are packaged into something you actually want to carry around. Here’s how these two new UGREEN offerings fare in daily use.

Nexode Pro 10000mAh 55W Power Bank

The Nexode Pro power bank is a compact unit built around a 10,000mAh capacity with support for up to 45W single-port fast charging, extendable to 55W when paired with compatible Xiaomi devices. It sports two USB-C ports, one USB-A port and a built-in braided USB-C cable. A separate USB-C to USB-C cable is also included in the box for charging multiple devices at once.

A numeric display on the face shows remaining battery level, real-time output power and charging status at a glance. At a rated capacity of 36Wh, it clears airline carry-on requirements for most flights, though the absence of triple C certification means it is not viable for trips to China. For a product made in China, that omission is rather baffling.

In hand, the Nexode Pro power bank is compact and genuinely pocketable, though it carries a noticeable heft to it. Those after something featherlight will want to look elsewhere, though the weight is understandable given the capacity, charging speeds and the display all contributing to the package.

In practice, the power bank managed to charge an iPhone 17 Pro twice with a little left to spare, averaging around 20W throughout and taking the phone from 40 to 80 percent in just over half an hour. On the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, it averaged around 25W, which while short of the rated 45W ceiling, is sufficient to trigger Samsung’s Super Fast Charging and deliver a 50 to 60 percent top-up in roughly 45 minutes. The full 55W output remains exclusive to Xiaomi devices, which is worth keeping in mind depending on what you are pairing it with.

Thermal performance is impressive at these speeds. The display area runs a little hot during charging, but the rest of the body stays just slightly warm, which is not something you take for granted in a power bank pushing these kinds of numbers. One minor issue did surface during testing where the display briefly showed erratic readings of one to five watts, though replugging the cable resolved it immediately and it did not recur.

The Nexode Pro 10000mAh 55W Power Bank retails at RM159, though it is regularly available at a discount on UGREEN’s official Lazada and Shopee stores.

Nexode Pro 100W 5-Port Charger

The Nexode Pro 100W 5-Port Charger is aimed at desk setups and home offices where multiple devices need topping up simultaneously. It packs four USB-C ports and one USB-A port, with the C1, C2 and C3 ports each supporting up to 100W single-port output. The C4 port caps at 30W and the USB-A port at 22.5W. A built-in TFT display shows live power distribution across all active ports.

In terms of size, the charger is reminiscent of an older MacBook Pro charging brick, though considerably more useful given it handles five devices at once rather than one. The solid, hefty build feels like a reassurance of quality rather than a drawback, and consolidating an entire desk’s worth of charging into a single unit is a convenience that is hard to argue with. No cables are included in the box, however, so ensuring you have fast charging cables rated to match each device’s speed is something to sort out separately.

Charging performance holds up well across devices. The iPhone 17 Pro averaged around 20W, taking the phone from 40 to 80 percent in just over half an hour. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra received around 34W, hitting the same 40 to 80 percent window in approximately 20 minutes, with a full charge achievable in just under an hour.

One ergonomic gripe worth pointing out is the port placement. All five ports sit at the bottom of the unit, which means either connecting all cables before plugging the charger in, or blindly fumbling for ports once it is already on the wall. Swapping or adding cables mid-session essentially requires unplugging the whole unit, flipping it over and reconnecting what you need.

The ports at the bottom also means that if the charging outlet is close to the floor or a table, there might not be enough space for the cables to connect and hang off the charger. It’s a minor but recurring annoyance that a different port layout could have avoided.

The Nexode Pro 100W 5-Port Charger retails at RM209, though like the power bank, discounts are regularly available on UGREEN’s official Lazada and Shopee stores.

Overall, these two Nexode Pro additions make a strong case for themselves. The power bank charges up to three devices quickly in a pocketable form, weight aside, and the 100W charger handles five devices simultaneously with live power monitoring to boot. Both are sensible purchases and easy recommendations at their respective price points, port placement gripes notwithstanding.
