Genshin Impact Version Luna VI Arrives 8 April with Temple of Space and Linnea

HoYoverse has announced that Genshin Impact Version Luna VI, titled Song of the Welkin Moon: Rondo – Augured Homecoming, will launch on 8 April, expanding Mondstadt’s map further north and introducing a new playable character alongside a fresh set of exploration mechanics.

The update pushes into Mondstadt’s northern reaches, where lush flower fields give way to the trading activity of Dornman Port. Floating above the region is the Temple of Space, a mysterious structure housing fragments created by Asmoday, the sovereign of sky and space. A new interaction mechanic lets players manipulate and alter space within these realms to uncover sealed paths and hidden secrets, with the deeper mysteries of the temple offering glimpses into the enigmatic Ruler of Space. A new boss, Watcher: Fallen Vigil, also awaits in the wilderness around Dornman Port.

Making her playable debut this version is Linnea, a five-star Geo Bow character and naturalist who serves as an advisor to the Adventurers’ Guild. Her kit is built around supporting Lunar-Crystallize parties, with the ability to convert Hydro-Crystallize reactions into Lunar-Crystallize reactions. Summoning her companion Lumi boosts Lunar-Crystallize damage while reducing the opponent’s Geo resistance. Her Elemental Skill offers a choice between sustained off-field Geo damage or a single large Lunar-Crystallize reaction hit, and her Elemental Burst provides party-wide healing. Outside of combat, discovering rare animals and other finds in the open world earns Linnea badges for her backpack, tying her naturalist identity into the exploration loop.

For Event Wishes, the first phase pairs Linnea’s debut banner with a rerun of Chasca, while the second phase brings back Nefer and Lauma. A Chronicled Wish featuring Fontaine characters will also be held for the first time this version.

The Traveler also heads to a trade show hosted by the Voynich Guild back in Nod-Krai, where high-profile merchant disputes need resolving. The associated activities include a cooperative aerial bombardment challenge and a fast-paced colour-coded barrage shooter, with the free character Jahoda available as a reward for completing them.

Miliastra Wonderland also receives a quality-of-life update this version, increasing player lobby capacity and introducing a new special effect editor alongside improvements to skill customisation and UI assets.
