In conjunction with CES 2026, Acer has unveiled its latest lineup of Predator and Nitro gaming laptops, powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs.

Leading the announcement is the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI, joined by the Acer Nitro V 16 AI and the slimmer Nitro V 16S AI.

At the top of the stack is the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI. Measuring just 18.9mm thick, the laptop is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU based on NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture. With support for DLSS 4, the RTX 50 Series GPUs bring improved performance scaling and AI-driven image generation for both gaming and creative workloads.

The Helios Neo 16S AI features a 16-inch WQXGA OLED display, offering true HDR support, deep contrast, and vibrant colours, making it well-suited for both gaming and content creation. Thermal performance is handled by Acer’s latest cooling solution, which includes a 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fan and liquid metal thermal compound. The laptop supports up to 64GB of DDR5-6400 memory and up to 2TB of PCIe storage.

Rounding out the package are DTS:X Ultra speakers, an FHD IR webcam, and a strong selection of connectivity options, including Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro Wi-Fi 6E and Thunderbolt 4. The Helios Neo 16S AI also supports Copilot+ PC features on Windows 11, alongside Acer Intelligence Space, which brings AI-assisted tools for gaming, productivity, and creative workflows.

As for more accessible options, Acer’s updated Nitro series offers a balance of performance and portability. The Acer Nitro V 16 AI is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, paired with up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage. It comes equipped with DTS:X Ultra audio and an FHD IR webcam with a physical shutter.

Meanwhile, the Nitro V 16S AI focuses on slimness and portability, coming in at under 17.9mm thick. It shares the same processor and GPU options as the Nitro V 16 AI, while adding features such as a 16-inch WUXGA display, a four-zone RGB keyboard, Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E, and an FHD IR webcam with a privacy shutter. This model is positioned as an on-the-go gaming laptop at a more accessible price point.

Acer is placing a strong emphasis on AI capabilities across the new Predator and Nitro lineup. All models are Copilot+ PCs running Windows 11, featuring NPUs capable of delivering over 45 AI TOPS for on-device AI processing. These enable features such as real-time Live Captions, AI-assisted image creation, and enhanced productivity tools through Acer Intelligence Space.
