Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.8 Arrives Soon with Playable Character The Dahlia

HoYoverse has officially announced details for Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.8, “Memories are the Prelude to Dreams,” which is set for release soon. This update serves as the climactic end to the epic Amphoreus journey, shifting the Astral Express’s immediate focus back to Penacony before the crew embarks on their next space fantasy adventure.

The familiar “Planet of Festivities” now presents a completely different atmosphere, inviting players to uncover its final, untold mysteries alongside the new limited five-star character, Constance “The Dahlia.”

Following the final battle of Amphoreus, The Dahlia makes an unexpected appearance, revealing that the Trailblazer’s memories are not whole, with crucial pieces having been stolen. Version 3.8 will see the Trailblazer experiencing the narrative through the lens of Firefly’s perspective, finally answering how she first arrived in the dreamscape, how the meeting with the crew occurred, and the nature of the battlefields she must face.

The Dahlia, a central figure in this new memory-hunting adventure, officially joins the playable roster. She arrives in Penacony despite the failure of her father Duke Inferno’s grand strategy.

Though her target is the Remembrance, and her power relates to fabricating and enkindling memories, The Dahlia follows the Path of Nihility in combat. She excels when teamed up with characters specializing in Break DMG, fundamentally reshaping the meta.

On the battlefield, The Dahlia can actively unleash a gloomy Zone. While this Zone is active, all Toughness Reduction inflicted by allies immediately triggers Super Break DMG, an effect that works even before the enemy’s Weakness is fully broken. Furthermore, as an elegant dancer, The Dahlia selects a teammate to be a “Dance Partner.”

After either Dance Partner attacks, they deal an additional instance of Super Break DMG. Her Ultimate ability then applies every Dance Partner’s Type Weakness to all enemies, drastically boosting the effectiveness of Toughness Reduction.

In addition to the main story, the new version introduces a brand-new event, “The Chrysos Awoo Championship.” Here, the Trailblazer is invited as a special guest to become a chimera trainer, leading a personalized team of little chimeras in pursuit of championship glory.

Players can also look forward to the “Remnants of Twilight” event, which features a variety of battle challenges requiring strategic and decisive team deployment.
