Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Officially Launched — Samsung’s First Triple-Fold Smartphone With a 10-Inch Display

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Z TriFold, its first triple-folding smartphone and the second device of its kind after the Huawei Mate XT. The Z TriFold features a massive 10-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display (QXGA+, 120Hz LTPO) that folds in three sections. There’s also a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X secondary outer display (FHD+, 120Hz LTPO).

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 16GB RAM, up to 1TB of storage, and a 5,600mAh battery supporting 45W wired and 15W wireless charging.
For cameras, the Z TriFold packs a 200MP OIS main camera, 12MP ultra-wide, and 10MP OIS telephoto with 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom. Both the inner and outer selfie cameras are 10MP.
The phone is available only in Crafted Black, complete with IP48 dust and splash resistance. The side-mounted fingerprint sensor is integrated into the power button. Dimensions measure 159.2 × 75.0 × 12.9 mm when folded, with a minimum thickness of 3.9 mm when fully unfolded. It runs One UI 8 based on Android 16.
The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold will go on sale first in South Korea on 12 December, followed by launches in China, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE, and the United States. Pricing has not yet been announced.
