While most gamers enjoy consoles in the living room, some prefer having them in a dedicated gaming room alongside their PC. For this group, Sony has unveiled a new 27-inch Gaming Monitor built specifically for the PlayStation 5, but also fully compatible with PCs.

The monitor features a 27-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display with a 120Hz VRR refresh rate for PS5 and up to 240Hz for PC gaming. It also supports Auto HDR and can automatically detect when a PS5 or PS5 Pro is connected, adjusting display settings accordingly. On the monitor’s stand, there’s even a hook to hang DualSense or DualSense Edge controllers when not in use.
In terms of connectivity, it comes with 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x USB-A, 1x USB-C, built-in stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, and VESA mount support at the back.
The 27-inch Gaming Monitor will be available in Japan and the United States starting in 2026, though pricing details have yet to be announced.
