CelcomDigi Launches Spark, Replacing Yoodo as Its eSIM-Focused Digital Brand
AF
CelcomDigi has begun rolling out updates to the Yoodo app, which was temporarily known as “Formerly Yoodo.” The new name is Spark, and along with this change, CelcomDigi is positioning Spark as a telecommunications service that focuses on eSIM.

Spark also emphasizes service activation through its mobile app. Users only need to download the Spark app, choose their preferred number, select a plan, and activate it directly through the application.
At the moment, three plans are offered through Spark — 3GB (4G) priced at RM15 per month, 40GB (4G/5G) with 100 call minutes priced at RM25 per month, and 200GB (4G/5G) with 100 call minutes priced at RM65 per month.

From our testing, existing Yoodo plans still renew automatically, but there is no longer an option to customize plans as before. Users are instead provided with the three new Spark plan options if they wish to make a change.
For those using the “Formerly Yoodo” app, you will begin receiving this new update starting today on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
