Nintendo has officially announced that the Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Switch Online services will launch in Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand on November 18, according to a statement posted on its official website. The rollout marks a long-awaited milestone for Malaysian gamers, especially after the Nintendo Switch 2 began sales in the country this past July.

Through the Nintendo eShop, users will be able to purchase and download digital games, manage DLCs, and handle Nintendo Switch Online memberships directly from their consoles. Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch Online subscription will provide access to online multiplayer features, classic titles from older Nintendo systems, and Save Data Cloud backups for game progress protection.
As for users in the Philippines, the wait continues. Nintendo confirmed that both services are still in the process of being prepared for launch in that region, with more details to come soon.
